A nice theme here, but what would really bring out this picture would be better quality of colors (ryuku2's suggestion is probably the best I can offer). And maybe give it a black background with a little light exposing under the skull and if would look more... ominous.

- i really like your drawing. have you ever thought of useing a blending stick?it will make it have a scarier and more balance quality
