This is a painting of an Appalachian road I painted toward the end of my high school term. It is painted with acrylic paints and is not blended. It was layered intentionally to add a different effect.
The painting is that of a young girl walking down the worn path to a lake in the Appalachian Mountain range. The vivid cool colors are accented by the red shirt which is used to emphasize the focal point of the painting. It is by far my more favorite painting to this date. - Date: 05/27/2010
