    Chapter 1

I stared down at the blood on my hands, almost unable to be seen through the light shining from The Holy Father standing before me.
"I asked if you knew where your brother was, Cain." God stated.
"Which one, I have a few." Even though I knew which one. He meant the one I killed, the brother who could not have come to this meeting today. He wanted to see us both. It is very unusual for him to want us to come see him, he usually just watches us work from heaven. But then again, this is no ordinary day.
"You know whom I mean Cain, where is Abel?" He said, not angry, but frustrated. God will not be subject to feelings he did not create. "I don't know," I told him,"I am not my brother's keeper." Little did I know how famous that saying would become.
    "I know you killed him."
The sentence hung in the air for several minutes.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I lied again. I've had a problem with lying for some time. "Cain first you ignore the call for sacrifice, and then you kill your brother. Now you lie to my face and expect me not to know? Your arrogance and crimes have brought this punishment on you. You brought this on yourself." The Holy Father finished his speech with a tone of evident disappointment.
"Your punishment for your crimes," He began, "Is a curse of eternal life, exile from the planet eden, and once you die, you are to be banished to hell."
I stood, my face downcast, staring at my hands covered in the blood of my brother.
"you leave tonight, you will take only what you must, and never return. Or your punishment will be all the more severe." At this the holy light faded, and I knew he'd gone back to his throne.
I slowly turned, the ground crunching at my feet. My twin brother, who dominated the power of destruction, is now dead. I, the humble guide of creation, is banished. I took his life in a fit of rage, and now I must leave my home, banished form the planet of eden. The beautiful place of my birth. The Father of us all will soon be sending my family to earth, where they will grow and prosper.
I will travel the cosmos, visiting the planets there, seeing what else god has created. I will learn from them what I can, and learn what other powers he has imparted with the inhabitants of the universe.
