You see from the eyes of a girl already turned, a mere few year old, standing in front of a forest
looking into its depths as the snow quietly falls. Her thoughts are yours and her senses you
can feel. "Blood..." she whispers, her breath visible in the chill air. Her fangs are slightly
extended as she hastily makes her way into the forest, when she catches another scent. The
scent of a brother, that sends a chill down her spine and a hiss through her lips. She continued
on still, until she came to a mansion in a clearing. It radiated death and sorrow, and reeked
with such a stench of blood she reeled backwards, clasping her nose and mouth with her hand.
She fell to her knees and fought herself. You feel these feelings of self hatred and desperation,
as she slowly continues on. She opens the door to the mansion, only to be met with corpses
of servants, splayed across the room drained dry. She ignores these corpses, choosing to not
see what is there. She becomes good at this, because she knows that there will be much
more of this throughout her miserably long life. She hears a tiny sobbing coming from the floor
above and she slowly walks up the large staircase, which would have been a beautiful thing had
it not been for the red staining it. She comes to a door, and looks down seeing a drained
middle aged man laying in front of it. "The father." you hear, as you realize its her thoughts
your hearing. "Died admirably, protecting his loved ones." the voice went silent as the girl steps
into the room and looks around. She sees a tiny five year old girl, crying over a younger
woman, who has been completely drained as well. She stands there, dumbfounded that there is
a survivor. The voice speaks again, "Left for later." was all it said. The girl looks up and sees
the girl. Her eyes a filled with such hatred and sorrow that it pierces her heart, and she's never
hated herself more in her entire life than now. She has a sudden attack of hunger, and she falls
to the floor writhing, for she has not had blood for a very long time. She clutched her head and
desperately pushes herself against the opposite wall before completely losing control. She
looks up, with her fangs fully extended and her violent gaze falls upon the girl. She blacks out,
and therefore so do you. And eternity seems to pass, before her vision is slowly returned, and
anguish wracks her body as she crawls away, fresh blood on her hands. She sobs there on her
hands and knees for a long time, before getting a hold of herself. She walks away into the
snowy night never looking back as the fiery glow of the mansion ablaze carves into the night.

- Title: Vampire Short Story
- Artist: Caelum Lupus
- Description: This is in NO way related to Twilight, and yea, even I think that vampires are seriously over used here on Gaia. I mean seriously, vampires and werewolves aren't the ONLY mythical creatures out there. Be a little original guys your brains are capable! But I guess I'm a hypocrite for saying that Lol! Plus this isn't a rant, I wrote this for an Rp, nothing more nothing less so just enjoy it I guess, and don't totally rape me with punctuation criticism because I already know I suck! xD
