waves across the Ocean, they pivot, swirl
God’s creation painted across our world.
nature, life of all kind, it sits, glides, creeps
all of it covering the oceanic deep.
your pain is swiped away with one soothing view
of the magnificent Marine’s fresh, sapphire, hue.
there is nothing that can surpass the Sea’s splendor
nor is there anything that can surpass the Sea’s terror.
with such exquisiteness comes a charge
Hurricanes, Whirlpools, Waterspouts, all large.
they sweep the land, Sea,
causing loss universally.
it is at that time where we wish not to frown
we wish for our Ocean to finally calm down.
unfortunately, if our wishes are not to come true
we will bring forth our memories of our gentle Deep Blue.

- Description: My English class is making us make a poem portfolio. I chose what I think is my best written piece and thought,"Hey! Let's put it on Gaia!" Remember, I"m only in the 7th grade. Please don't criticize this piece of writing as if it were written by a high schooler.
