• On one quiet evening, the sun high in the sky,
    there was one house that was a bit noisy, the neighbors wondered why.
    It was the house of JDB, that's making such a muck,
    he was decorating his house, with his four rubber ducks.
    JDB and Pecky setting up the tree, which stood so tall,
    while Edie, Eddie, and Clarence placed some lights on the wall.
    The red stockings hanging and hammered under the lights,
    all preparing for the wonderful night(s).

    Edie glances at the stockings then at JDB, saying "those stockings might catch on fire if something happens to the lights." JDB replies "yeah, but they won't if we're more careful, not like last year," as he glares at Pecky and Eddie. Eddie turns after finishing with the lights on his part of the wall and says, "hey, you should of warn us about how strong eggnog can be." JDB says, "I guess, though I didn't remember buying it.' Pecky shrugs "Oh well, we stopped that fire early." JDB sighs, "Whatever," but thinking "If by early you mean more than half the house was engulfed in flames..." Clarence and Edie finishes with the lights as they turn around, Clarence says, "Finished. Whats next?" JDB points at a box filled with ornaments and such, stating "We'll put the decorations on the tree, now that we're done putting it up." The two holy ducks nod and head for the box as Pecky moves and rests on the sofa, turning on the TV and Christmas specials plays. The other ducks and JDB decorate the tree with lights and ornaments, that part of the room filled with classic Christmas music.

    "Yay, its the Christmas season." Edie says, Pecky and Clarence licking their beaks as they think of the candy they'll get on St. Nick's Day. As they finish, JDB ponders then says "Hm... wonder if there will be a Christmas this year." Eddie looks over and replies "Who knows?" Edie and Clarence look up at them, Clarence saying "What do you mean?" Pecky states "Look kid, this world is messed up. There have been many crazy things happening, especially at this time of the season. JDB said that during his 1st Christmas season here, Santa had turned into a cow." Eddie adds "Yeah, and our 1st Christmas here with JDB had two, quote 'Demigods' unquote, that fought each other 2 months prior during the Halloween season, join together to spread Holiday cheer since Santa went missing." Pecky starts drooling as he has a daydream about The Sentinel. Eddie notices it and rolls his eyes. Clarence says, "So will they spread it again this year?" JDB shrugs, "Doesn't look like it. They have been gone since and Santa hasn't been reported found or anything like that." Clarence looks down at the floor, Edie holding him, but after a moment, he then looks up and suggests "How about we spread the cheer?" Everyone else looks at him with a confused face, but Clarence continues, "Why not? Someone has to and I say we should." Pecky replies, "Forget it, kid. We don't have anything to 'spread the cheer'." Edie says, "We could use some airships from helping that Demigod during the summer." JDB nods and says, "Yeah, and I guess I can dress up as Santa...." Pecky suddenly says "Oh God, not that again." JDB tosses a cookie into Pecky's mouth, shutting him up. Pecky noms on the cookie as Eddie speaks "That's a good start, but we need gold for the repairs of the airship and presents and that stuff." They all ponder, but then JDB states, "I know were we can get some gold."
