-
With blade in hand we fight our wars,
with no fear and no remorse,
We fell our foes all around,
Their blood staining the ground.
We draw our blades and move on out,
and the crows and vultures gather round,
They squak and caw and screech aloud,
And take flight in a monstrous cloud.
Until one day we found a lord,
Holding out a broken sword,
No edge or tip to bring us down,
We charge across the battle ground.
He whirls and swings,
His sword sings,
We all fall to the ground,
Beaten broken and thrown around.
He stands forth and says
that even though we haven't bled
he still has won,
against our strongest sons.
let this be the lesson today,
That even with a broken blade,
And the hounds of war on their way,
That you can win the day.

- very well done. Play it with a Lute and then it will be better but still 5/5.

- It has nice, clear images, but the meter is off in places. Also, you might consider adding to it a little more. For example, there's a whole stanza of detail in the beginning, but none later on. Altogether, it's a nice idea, if a little underdeveloped.

- It has rather cleat images, but the meter is off in several places. Also, you might want to flesh it out some more. In the beginning, there's a whole stanza of detail, but none later. Altogether, it's an intriguing idea, if a touch incomplete.
