You gamble your soul
To fill that hole
The one deep inside
Where your heart resides
The ache has settled
At first you were rattled
But the stomach cramps
And the tears in your eyes like lamps
You're used to them by now
As well as the frown on your brow
You learn to deal
And you try to steal
Every moment, false or not
That makes you forget who you're not
Fake smiles, all-too-real tears
Your mind is awash with fears
You can't stop crying
But you're afraid of dying
Your pain is all too real
Would you belive me if I said I know how you feel?

- I like it, I like how you relate to the person in the poem at the end.
