What are these?
Your brain always hurting
Your heart never pleased
A friend becomes a lover
This is only a dream.
The heart is breaking
Perfectly at the seam.
Your heart calls your friend
Wanting more.
But he rejects you
Evening the score.
No matter the pain
He asks to still be a friend.
If you say yes
The pain will never end.
You say "of course
Friends forever".
Your love is still there
A hopeless endeavor.
You stay friends
For your whole life.
Heart filled with pain
And endless strife.
You wake up screaming
Was it only a dream?
That must be it
Or so it may seem.
You pull out a razor
Your life you won't miss.
Anticipating the end
The razors crimson kiss.

- Wow; the rhyming scheme fits perfectly with the mood of the song. It would be perfect with some instrumentals, maybe an emo-core Evanescense-type tune. A great piece. Your range is amazing; this is much different than Dreamscape, much more upfront and less imagery than statements. How long have you been writing?
