Falling, Falling
Towards the dark and horrid day,
For atop the window seal this atrocious thing dare lay,
Its ruffled black silk slowly gropes upon the paint,
Searching for a memory within one's mind so faint,
But the heavy breathing sky slowly sighs its name,
Lifting that bewildering thing back ti whence it came.

- Title: Poe's Feather
- Artist: Skull_thai
-
Description:
This poem was inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" and was written by me in 8th grade.
It is meant to symbolize the way in which unfortunate events in life come and go, often leaving one questioning the level of that misfortune's importance. (hence the poem centers around a feather to further emphasizing the light impact any one person's "horrible mis happening" may have on the grand scheme of their life) - Date: 08/14/2008
