Among the gardens in the midnight blue,
The wind whispers to the stars,
And to the moon afar,
Fairies gather, old and new.
They dance in the moonlight,
Frolicking in meadows bare,
Lighting up the evening air,
Swaying left to right.
A silent pause comes as they look upon the road,
They rise and sing,
As the new Fairy King,
Approaches upon a majestic toad.
Early in the morning, the sun rises,
The fairies disappear and go on:
With mornings' dew, the magic's gone...
Nights are full of surprises!

- Title: Moonlit Road
- Artist: KitCowling
- Description: One of my first fairy poems I ever wrote. I wrote it after I received a birthday card with an image of a group of fairies coming down a path as if they were on their way to a festival. The picture inspired these words.

- Wow, I love it! I never thought to write poems like this. Writing a fairy poem sounds so cool... I think I'll try that sometime. Maybe I'll think of a more original topic, but it's still awesome! Great!

- It sounds professional, with an alluring quality. It strongly reminds me of Loreena Mckennitt's song: Stolen Child. Lovely work sweetie x
