Her name is Sue Skin,
She lives on South Road.
Attached to her house
Is the diner she owns.
Business is good,
And it's getting better.
Though no one knows why,
As she's not very clever.
The chips she serves
They are so crisp.
She lovingly calls them
Her specialty dish.
They come on a plate
With pumpkin seeds.
An apple, some grapes,
And cottage cheese.
Cold drinks you'll need,
One after the other.
For then comes the main course
with corn soaked in butter.
The core of the apple,
you might want to spare.
As some diners go home,
To cupboards now bare.

- Title: Sue Skin the Sly

- Description: This was an entry I made for a poetry game in a guild I belong to. It's just a silly rhyme about the owner of a diner who robs potential customers and then serves them with foods that may have come from their own cabinets and refrigerators.
