Crimson tears flowing into the sea
Feelings that taste like the salt
The salt of the sea
The sea that carries my body
A life put forever in a halt
Dreary days come and go
A cold sky overlooks my torn remains
A fatal stab in the heart
The blood continues to stain me
To stain the salty sea
I have forever done my part
Ended in a duel
My husband lost his favorite jewel
A jab to the heart
A toss to the cold sea
That was all it took
For him to lose his precious Ruby
- Title: “His Ruby is Fading"
- Artist: yumiko27
- Description: This poem is about a dead woman named Ruby whose husband bet on her life and lost. She was stabbed in the heart and thrown to the sea. I know it's a dreary poem but, oh well... Honest opinions are appreciated!

- You displayed quite some creativity in the story of the poem. I think what makes a gloomy piece different from most (well no offense to anyone but the arena is just filled with emo crap) is the story itself. 4/5
