• In life there are many paths
    Most paths are easy to follow
    Till you come to a fork in the road
    What now but to sit and wait

    Sit and wait at this fork in the road
    Look out to see what is ahead
    Look and see as far as your eye can see
    Into the future is where you must be

    Watch and see what happens
    At the end of each path
    Both good and bad can come from them

    What is it you see so far out from me
    It is but girl and me as happy as can be
    Both paths show the same
    But what is the difference hidden in the scene

    We look and look but in the end
    We are only too blind to see
    What is right in front of me
    For it is she who is in front of me

    There was no path only she
    It was always just the two of us


    I ask myself how this can be
    I looked forward to see and saw
    The perfect future just for me
    Now I see the future to be
    Could only have been seen

    Though her eyes I can see
    What must be seen
    The nature of us that will be

    Still left with a choice
    I could take what is
    That is in front of me
    Or turn away from
    The one who loves me

    If I go there where there is no path
    Or road to see so what is next
    Because in the end it is all the same
    So I take her hand and lead the way
    For happiness will be everyday
