Preparing for yesterday;
not near ready for today.
Clouds cover what needs found,
if only it wasn’t lost for now.
Thinkin’ about the years before,
but all I know is the lore.
The stories of the yesteryears
don’t uncover the mysteries.
I wish I knew what was true,
but only liars write history.
The unknown keeps most silent
till its secrets are unlocked.
Mysteries are its only cover
but no one cares to look.
They close the door and forget
instead of looking in front of them.

- Description: I wrote this one day in my spare time and I though I'd share it to see what others think. I really don't actually think it's the best poem I've ever done, but it flows a lot better than most of the others I've written.
