• Description: If you think you've seen this before, you have! It was the description for an "ice maiden" avatar I put in the arena years ago. The avvie didn't win, but I still liked the poem, so I decided to submit it in its own right now. It was written in the winter 2k7/2k8, and was inspired by walking home in a blizzard, on one of those cold winter nights when the dark comes early...

Tonight's her night.
The ice wind's her music, do you hear it blow?

Feel the cold creep into you,
Feel the frost steal your face,
Turning it so frozen blue,
Feel your death's cold embrace.
Tonight's her night,
Her love shines bright,
Her heart cannot melt,
But she loves you true,
It's time you knelt,
Let her ice freeze you blue.
