A hero in his own mind, he fights each battle with honor and vigor.
Never does he fail, but only to himself does he succeed.
To protect what he can, his strength does not wither,
though gone are those who've seen him bleed.
He takes each day like it's his last,
for life be not short, but goes by fast.
