Jungle Sundown begins,
A faint whisper from a breeze,
Whistling tress call back,"Set my leaves free..."
Lion's roar hushes softly,
Fading to the orange sky,
Mane stroking colors onto canvas.
Tiger's eye gleaming bright,
Through the darkening cloth of sky,
Stripes gleam from black to white,
Against the darkening sky.
Monkey's leap above the sunset,
Stars not yet time to appear,
A single glimmer in the sky,
Catches one's eye,
Between the curl of a monkey's tail.
Orange to Red,
Red to Black,
Black to White,
Simple and bold,
Now will take a rest,
As Sundown ends to Nightfall.
