The first leaf falls
tab And crunches dryly underfoot.
The clock unfrozen
tab Counts down the beating of my heart.
The hallway doors
tab Are standing open to the cold.
tab tab tab And we quickly get lost in the crowd.

- Title: Incarnadine
- Artist: aliasJaneDoe
-
Description:
Incarnadine can mean either "turning flesh colored" or "turning red", especially blood-red.
It may not rhyme, but that's because rhyming took away the feel of it and distracted too much from what I was actually saying. And it does have it's own meter, which I think is just as important (if not more important).
I've always thought that less is more, so there you have it. - Date: 05/17/2009
