Every man, knowing of sorrow
Every soul, knowing of pain
Every heart, knowing of loss
Every family, knowing of disdain
A hand descends upon the broken,
To help them, to help break the chain,
To show that the road may be hard,
But its broken in, by the many that have walked it...
The questioning glance of those around them,
Doubting their will, their very being,
Wanting to break them, show that their will was but a weak hem,
Still they walk, and now the people sing
Glorious are they, for traveling the path,
Not looking back, but moving forward, Ignoring all strife
Not dragged down by insults,
But happily going down the worn road of life
