When you lie, remember me
Perched on the edge of clarity
As the forked tongued path beckons you
To have your fun and flee
Every little stroke I painted with lies
Whitewashed these walls before your eyes
The chalk facade now crumbling down
Rips away your fraudulent guise
The wolves you cried to are no more
Monsters behind the cupboard door
Cadaverous lips chapped with deceit
Say what they said before:
Liar, Liar,
Pants on fire,
Your nose is longer than a telephone wire...

Thanks, but I'm cringing already!
OUCH I read this back and all I hear is a voice in my head going "Wemo, Wemo, Wemo, Wemo..."
I was in a stupid mood; too stupid to recognise what poetry should be
