When I once again review my life
Flashing right before my eyes
Into the mirror I stare with widened eyes
Stilled forever into the night.
When my old dismembered broken dreams
Became forever ripped out of my life's tapestry seams
I laugh remembering my old crazy schemes
Stilled forever into the night.
Whenever my clumsiness caused me pain
It kept me crying on and on again
Those tears form a river where I'll someday swim in
Stilled forever into the night.
In a magnificent castle far far away
A princess I was when my slumbering dreams took place
The sparkly-eyed smile now spread out wide across my face
Stilled forever into the night.
When dislike and love grew hand in hand
A bond took form that no one understnds
Why just a girl by herself is her own best friend
That was the story of my old stilled forever life.
