My heart cries
For the girl I once knew
Whose smile
Lit up my world.
Who calms the tears
The fears
That swallows this heart of mine
When I'm just not strong enough
She can make me laugh
With such abandon
That just a smile
Makes me forget
For a little while
I remember. . .
Everything
Her warmth
Her light
Her own self worth
What happened to the girl I once knew?
Who's smile
Who's laugh
Who's words
Are falling on deaf ears
And very heavy hearts
Because if it were up to me,
I would pay whatever price
To bring her back
And be the girl that I once knew

- Very beautiful... just watch out for some grammar errors... "Whose smile," rather than "who's smile." That makes me deduct a point, but still 4/5. n_n
