What am I doing here? Look at this junk! Look at those people! They're all doing the same! Shopping, looking for something that they think they can't live without.

Sure, nourishment is vital for survival, but how much is needed?
Buying things left and right, things for themselves, their families, friends, and other people they might not even know.

I watched them make these purchases, going through their wallets and purses. They always go for the green-backs, straight-up cash; never the heavy, plastic reminder of debt sitting right next to their license. They know they messed up somewhere along the line, but now they struggle, like everyone else does.

They struggle for something they don't even need.
