Templar knights take heed to satisfy the needy
The gaudy are stripped of their riches no longer left jaunty
Lofty were the men who nimbly kept to their riches
Flaunting wealth now exposed with no repose as leeches
Gauntly and frail with no backbone to stand
Try and be tried in the judgment of God’s hand
They wither away in a desert of destitute
Abhorred by the vile deeds of men without rectitude
What was denied of the wealthy is benignly given to the poor
Clothing and sheltering those who didn’t close God’s welcoming doors
Those stricken by famine will lavishly eat with hunger quelled
Those thirsting with lips dry and chap will drink from God’s abundant well
Pale, dry, and malnourished skin will be flushed with color
Harvesting the riches found in God’s harbor

- Title: Templar Knights: Men of God
- Artist: Ammiel Azarel
- Description: A short poem about templar knights. I love history from all periods. The holy crusades were bad I know. I'm not a pompous and pious person. Just a poem sheesh.
