Unburied Children (3-14-10)
Four thousand children, unburied every day,
All getting chopped up, and then they are thrown away.
And all of this happens here in the U.S.A.
There’s no rhyme or reason for it to be this way.
Four thousand children, unburied every day.
Why is life no longer
As precious as it used to be?
Maybe it has something
To do with Darwin’s theory.
Millions of children, with no place to rest,
Murdered and tossed out. Why can’t we see we’re blessed?
I’ve thought about it, but cannot even guess.
This whole abortion thing’s really quite a mess.
Millions of children, with no place to rest.
You go to jail for murder, and that seems fair enough.
But throwing baby slayers in prison’s just too tough.
It’s just so hard, you see? Yes, life these days is too rough.
Getting away with murder is now what’s fair enough.
Too many children, unburied every day.
We cannot continue going on in this way.

Description:
Once you start reading this poem, it won't take you long to figure out what it's about and what stance I have. Please note that the numbers are based on statistical facts.
Also note: For lyrical/meter purposes, some words that we casually say with fewer syllables can be spoken with more syllables to fit the scheme.

- I'm, for the most part, with you on the issue of abortion as well. I disagree what some of those radicals are doing though--murdering to show murdering is wrong, heh. And tarnishing a message, to boot, that they're trying to support.

- Oh my...thats really powerful. I am on your side with the abortion situation. It's really a shame what humans can do to an unborn baby - it may not be breathing but it is living.
