As he rode night's silent air,
One giant eye turned to stare,
An eye that muses and wonders and dreams,
An eye that thinks on all the love it has seen.
Foolish men who do not crave,
The moon's full and rich displays,
Will never feels loves first kiss,
But will always wonder at what they miss.

Description:
A poem I made up. It took me two hours to write! I will probably write more verses, but wait and see! Please comment! (I don't mind critiques!)
I wrote this poem when i was inspired by a Roman book I was reading. It had a lot of quoting from Roman poets and writers, and one poet in particular, Ovid, used the moon and synonyms a lot, which gave me an idea. This is the finished product. - Date: 06/01/2010
