-
Away from your family
And all your old friends
You fight for our freedom
Until the day ends.
But no one knows
The heroic acts you take,
No one knows the horror
You go through every day.
All those back home
Look down on the violence
But none of them know
How it really happens.
If they knew the true story
Then no one would protest
No one would fight or shout out
No one would look down
On what you’ve done for us.
I am grateful that you
Would sacrifice your happy unknown
So I could keep mine.
And I am truly humbled
You have given up so much
Just to keep us free.

- Wow lol its kinda like me. XD I fight for each and every one of my so called 'friends' but in the end they seem to shun me away. And I got through so much pain but no as much as she soldiers. Thanks soldiers for being there when they couldnt be! smile Rofl.
