    I’ve walked through all this darkness,
    I’ve seen the other side of light,
    People say they love each other,
    Then turn around and scoff,
    The poorest man,
    The broken man,
    And a man down on his luck,
    I’ve seen much of love,
    Just to see hate rip it apart,
    And jealousy that never sees,
    The good it had from the start,
    They strive for peace,
    But yarn to fight,
    They finally lose their way,
    I’ve loved and lost,
    And I’ve hurt someone I love,
