People with hearts . . . and without
Today I saw something amazing at Central Park. Something that I will never forget. A woman was jogging, and I guess she wasn't being too careful because she tripped and fell. Her iPod fell out of her armband/iPod carrying case thing and landed in front of her. Then a homeless man ran over to her and helped her up. He picked up her iPod for her and gave it back to her. I was really surprised. He could have taken the iPod and sold it. That really changed the way I look at the world. There still are people with hearts out there. Oh, yeah, and the jogging woman didn't even say thank you. She just ran away. Yes, she actually did run away. She acted like the homeless man was going to attack her. Me, being the type of person who likes to congratulate people, started to clap. Haha, everyone stared at me and someone even told me to shut up. But the homeless man turned to me and smiled. It made my day. And it taught me a lesson. I will never judge people by their appearance ever again.
