Gale shot forward toward the Demon that had been talking. He shot an arrow at Gale, who quickly smacked it aside and stabbed at the Demon with his sword. The Demon jumped back and laughed as the others began to close in on Gale. "IMPALE!" A large spike shot up and impaled one of them. Gale laughed and held his swords out and spun around quickly. Three Demons were caught by the blades and were killed. The remaining three and their leader jumped back. "This isn't over you foolish Demon Hunter's" They jumped off into the forest. Gale sighed and sheathed his swords. As he turned to face Sophie a sharp pain sparked through his body and he fall to one knee. "I don't know if I can make it back to the house....." Sophie sat next to him and put her hand over his wound. "Mend..." The wound quickly began to seal up and turn into a scar. Gale's pain slipped away and he sighed. "Thank you...." Sophie fell against his back. She had become unconscious. He smiled and picked her up and began to walk back home.
Ellie was knocked away by the giant centipede. It quickly turned its attention back to Cid and raised its head up high. The Demon then thrust downward toward Cid. Yet as he struck he only hit dirt. Cid appeared a few yards away. He was still unconscious and a young boy stood next to him. He wore all black and had a scarf which covered most of his face that reached to the ground. The Demon rose back up and stared at the boy who was about Gale's age. "Foolish human....... I'll devour you all!!" The boy remained silent as it shot toward him.
