"Remember this name, neko. I'm Kokaru, Lord of the Saurian clan and don't y'all forget it!" the lizard roared as he dashed towards me.

I managed to block the attack, but he was still able to cut me along my face.

"Damn..." I hissed as I slid away to the other side of the room.

"This roomis a bit small, don't y'all think?" Kokaru exclaimed "Why don't we widen the area?" He then threw his shathe at me and it knocked me outside. He then chased Uzumi through the roof of the castle.

Picking myself up from the ground I could hear the clashing of swords in the distance. I knew it was him and Kokaru.

"Uzumi!" I cried out, "Hold on." I shrieked in pain as I stood to my feet. Running quickly to the battle.

The sound of blades crossing each other filled the air and set sparks across the sky. Kokaru had the upper hand against Uzumi who was struggling to his feet.

"Hehehehe!! What did I tell ya'?" Kokaru laughed, "I'm the Dragon of the North! I'm unbeatable!!"

"Only to an extent!" I yelled as my blade pierced his abdomen. As I did, the orb of Black Turtle fell from the wound.

"How could you defeat me?! I'm Kokaru....the......dragon of...the-----*" he sputtered as he fell to the ground, dead.

"We did Ambaru! You defeated him!" Uzumi cheered.

"Arrrghhh...." I moaned as I realized I had been pierced by Kokaru's blade. It was in my side.

"Ambaru!!!" he cried out as I passed out.

"I'm so....thoughtless....." I thought to myself.


That Night........

"Mmmmmm." I sighed. When I awoke, there was a warm fire. Tensu was sitting beside me and Uzumi was infront of me. He was nursing the wound I had sustained from Kokaru. "Ahhhhhh...." I cried. "Why are you pressing so hard?"

"I must apply pressure to the gash or it won't stop bleeding." he replied. "Stay still."

"Ahhhhnn! Please, not so hard." I whined as I pulled on his kimono.

When I did I noticed that his face got closer to mine. His lips were so close. I wanted to kiss him so badly. I thought to myself 'Why do you make me feel this way?' As our lips were about to touch, something inside of me told me to pull away. When I did Uzumi finally spoke.

"Ummm, Ambaru. You should rest till morning OK?" he said softly.

"OK." I said. I then got up and rested on Tensu's belly as he licked my face. 'Good night, Uzumi-kun.' I wanted to tell Uzumi-sama that night, but my heart refused to let me. I knew this moment would run through my mind the rest of the night.

In the morning Tensu had woke me. He seemed playful so I got up.

"G'morning, Tensu-sama!" I cheered.

"Ambaru-san." Tensu yipped, "Can we go berry collecting today? I really would love a strawberry ricecake."

"OK, Tensu-sama. Let's go!" I said happily. Then I noticed Uzumi-sama wasn't here. "Umm, Tensu-sama? Where's Uzumi-sama?" I asked.

"He stepped out again I guess. Why do you care?" Tensu said puzzled.

I thought once more to myself. 'Yeah, why do I care?'



Uzumi was running through the forest till he came to a large clearing. He then sat down to himself and fell into thought.

"What happened last night?" he whispered to himself, "She got so close to me...and then.....her lips....." Uzumi's ears pricked when he heared the sound of snapping branches.

"Owwiie!!!" a voice called out. "Damnit that hurts!"

A sword was pointed at the girls face. It was Uzumi's.

"Who are you? Where you following me?" Uzumi questioned.

"Seems like that." The girl replied slyly. "My name is Kurasaki Cake. You probably heard of me."

"No I haven't and I don't think I'd like to." Uzumi sneered.

"Seems like that..." Kurasaki sighed. "Oh well I'm known as the Seven Fanged Dragon. Remeber that."

"Hmph. Well I have no time for you. Leave me be." Uzumi replied coldly.

"Heehee, floozy...." Kurasaki snickered.

"What did you sa....!" Uzumi was about to protest, but she had dissapeared right afterward. "Oh well. Good ridance." Uzumi then decided to travel back to the shack.


When he got back he saw the girl sitting at the shack chatting with Ambaru.

"YOU!!!!" He shouted out loud. I turned around to see his startled face.

"Oh Uzumi-sama. Your back!" I giggled, "You've met Kura-chan I presume?"

"I, but she, she called me a, damnit....." Uzumi gwaffed.

"By the gods, I've missed you so much Kura-chan." I said to her.

"Heehee. Yeah, oh you still got your skills?" Kurasaki asked.

"Hehehehee. Of course!" I boasted. "You wanna sparr?"

"Lets go!" She said.

We both put on our battle garbs and drew our weapons. I was so happy to finally meet and old friend.
