Is it futile to understand ones self?
for the exploration of the soul is never ending ever changing,
turmoil caused by the emotions nary understood by man,
everything important stripped by what is called life,
leaving your soul barren to the elements of your heart,
your mind fights to control what it thinks can be contained,
however it is like trying to catch the wind ever fleeting and something ever weaving around you like the freedom of your spirit,
unyielding forceful, and unbreakable for it stands for the hope that your soul seeks,
the hope that it will become more bearable, and that the pain will end,
the hope that what you have sewn will bear fruit that is good,
for all the blood, sweat, and tears that you have shead onto the ground,
and when you see it is all for naught and the ground is barren,
all you can do is try again and hope that this time, this time, something good will come from your efforts to make your life more fruitful...
