It was pretty fun actually. We (me, my mom, and my brother Z) went with our next-door neighbors (Roxxy, Chris, and their little boys Dominic and Adrian).
Dominic was a little lion, and Adrian was a duck. blaugh They screamed adorable. I'm serious.
At first, we saw only one group of trick-or-treaters (a nice African-American woman and her two kids. Her little girl was a witch, and the witch's younger brother was a ninja). Then, as we went through our neighborhood, we saw more.
One of them was two heavy-set women who accompanied a little boy wearing a chicken costume. They stopped to talk way too much. The little boy saw Z's Bumblebee costume and said, "You're cool, dude!" He couldn't have been much older than two or three, so it was adorable. I giggled and said, "See Z? A little boy thinks you're cool!"
Then there was a blond guy at another house who was Edward! Yes, Edward from Twilight. My mom was all like, "Right on!" It was funny.
For the amount of houses we hit, we got a good haul. Me and Z traded for a bit when we got home. I found a lot of stuff I liked, and traded him three packets of Skittles for all his Twizzlers. That's probably the biggest trade I made.
I was a little Japanese girl, and my brother, as mentioned before, was Bumblebee. I am probably going to be a ninja next year, as Z has two ninja costumes left over from previous Halloweens.
I wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to be a ninja, but since this costume was only going to fit me once, I went ahead and was the Japanese girl.
