In the time of peace, the world of Earth was watched over by the gods and goddesses. Their home was in the heavens while Earth was the home to many different races who worshiped these powerful deities. After all the deities were the ones that brought peace, prosperity and healed the sick, etc. That was their jobs and the prays helped them grow in power. However unknown to the Earth's inhabitants, the heavens were in turmoil. Civil war broke out between the gods and the goddess. What caused the war to spark? Well that was unknown. Although some of the rumors were saying that the death of a powerful goddess loved by all, was what sparked the civil war. Earth was none the wiser.
The heavens were soon covered in bloodshed, as the war reached its' peak and many were dying in the conflict. A few of the deities escaped to Earth, hoping to escape the war of the Heavens. Sadly it didn't save them, for the war soon descended onto Earth. The lands were soon ravaged by war and bloodshed. The inhabitants were fleeing and screaming, as many were cut down. Earth soon became a bloody battlefield, a battlefield for the deities to play, as innocent blood was spilled. There was no escape, as the war covered Earth and everyone was in danger. It didn't seem to be ending anytime soon, as the inhabitants went into hiding as the deities used Earth as a battlefield.
During this time, two twins saw what the war was doing Their abilities far surpassed the abilities of their brethren. They figured they were the best chance at stopping them from destroying Earth and all its' inhabitants. So they stepped up, hoping to stop their brethren from destroying all that Earth held. The precious life that it harbored, being wasted and destroyed by this war. The twins one brother and one sister, stood in front of the battling armies. They proclaimed what they were doing was wrong and they must leave before it was too late. When they didn't listen, they engaged them in battle, that lasted for days. When they were thoroughly beaten, was when the others considered it and agreed. They retreated to the Heavens to lick their wounds and recuperate. The twins decided to stay on Earth, to make sure that bloodshed didn't fall upon these lands again. After all Earth wasn't meant to be a battlefield and the deities shouldn't force the inhabitants to play in their mindless games, that only destroyed life. Peace reigned and Earth was slowly recovering from one of it's most bloody events in history.
