it shouldnt even be a christian issue. both most western countries are separatist meaning the government is separate from the church. how can people say that i cant get married because it's ruining the sanctity of marriage when being married isnt even a christian idea anymore. it annoys me even more when people say "i thought that is what cvil unions are for" (and often then get offended when people say that it's discrimination), might as just well make separate toilets for me, and schools and other s**t like that.
