Whee! My first day of serious questing! Woot!
I'm starting off with 500 gold for a potentially 50,000+ gold item. It's actually not a bad start. If the item gets to 50,000 (actually, it's only a matter of when, but hopefully I can catch it before it reaches that price!), then at 500 gold a day I need 100 days. It's the 13th of January. My birthday is April 25. Lots of days and I'm sure I can make more than 500 gold a day. Well, I'm pretty sure. sweatdrop
In any case, I've got one day down and 99 days left. I'm waiting for a 2,000 gold trade to be confirmed, so that will lift me up. The weekend is almost here and that will lift me up too. (Was it two weekends ago that I made 1,500 or so by the end of it?)
My little blurb for this quest is as follows,
- <center></center>
After my Brown Paper Bag Quest, I went on and did a handful or so of mini-quests. My first two were for Hallowe'en: Ghosty and Skeleton. After Hallowe'en was over, I went after the outfits for Elf, Reindeer, Santa, the Gift, and Snowman. I even managed to add to my Santa outfit the Jolly Slippers and Hat! Now how cool is that for a girl who wasn't around for the first Gaian Christmas? Pretty good I think.
After the start of the New Year, I returned to questing, although nothing too major. I earned my OMFG Hat and returned 4,000 gold that I borrowed from a couple of friends to finish off my Christmas 'Wishlist' Quest. (It wasn't really a wishlist, but pretty close I guess, considering that those were the items that I wanted.) I paused my 2005 quest for over a week to help end The Official Quest Guild's Nakkie Contest. (The last three remaining contestants were awesome and so very devoted! It could have continued until the cows came home...in a taxi! eek )
Instead of questing for a BTK Hat, I'm jumping right in to quest for a January 2004 Letter or an Emo Bag. Both are rising steady in price. (I don't think the start of a New Year helped any as a friend of mine bought a January letter for 30K only a couple of weeks before last year's close.) I want to buy them before they become too expensive. (Heck, they're expensive enough already!)
My goal is to purchase one of these items by March (or at least before my birthday, but let's add a little pressure, shall we?).
The sooner I can finish this quest, the less expensive the item will be. Will you please help me out?
I'm thinking some sort of question and answer thing would be good for this round. Something funny and different.
And a journal header wouldn't be a bad idea either. Or a quest log in my thread, because I actually miss having one and sometimes the journal feature is available. '_'
Is school over yet? I have lots that I want to do!
