Hi everyone,
I survived dry dock! THANK THE LORD! xd We're back into almost regular cruises. Right now we're doing the NWA charter, which is turning out to be a lot of fun, there are a lot of party ppl. xd 3nodding We're performing tonight, sort of, we're doing an opening number and then we're pulling another number out of our asses that we haven't done in almost 2 months and have no resources for. (whisper) I'm not complaining though, because I'm a good cast member and would never complain about anything that the company does. *shakes head* whee
We had two charters before this. THe Olivia Charter (lesbian Cruise) they were a hoot within themselves. (yes I did just say a hoot within themselves lol) They were soo much fun to be around, and they were such a happy group of ppl, it was a nice charter to come back to. And then we had superbowl, which was alright. Spent lotsa money on clothes, that's about it. We performed one night a full production for like 10 ppl, it sucked majorly. but oh well, that's what we get paid for I guess. lol We have one more charter after this one, the Irish ppl cruise, they are supposedly bigger party ppl than these ppl, so that cruise should be A LOT of fun. xd
Lets see, what else is going on... not much really, getting back into the swing of things, I just bought a new laptop xd Which is exciting. lol Umm.... other than that, yeah. xd Alright, I have to go and get ready to perform actually, I'll write y'all soon. smile

...without updating. xd I'm getting better.. instead of like a month or two. xd
Anyhow, so yeah, it looks like I'll probably end up saying yes to another ship. Nothing is official, but if I do say yes, i'd probably be getting on the Ryndam, and it would be doing Mexico and Caribbean runs, so I'd yet again be in an eternal summer. xd I'd already know two of the three shows that other ppl would have to learn, so rehearsals would be a breeze also... I don't know though, still have to think about it. Because basically I'd get off this ship in May, and be back in rehearsals again in Aug. So I wouldn't have a lot of time off, but we'll see. smile
Dry dock has been boring, 'nuff said. LoL I got to paint some of the ship, and some of the tools that we use around the ship, it's been *that* exciting. 3nodding whee xp ONLY A WK LEFT THOUGH! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! xd xd xd
And then we have the Olivia Charter, and some other charters, which I'm very excited about. xd Which, if anyone lives near Jacksonville, FL. Over superbowl wk, the 2nd-7th to be exact, of Feb, I will be in Jacksonville on the ship, being a floating hotel. So if anyone would like to come visit, PM me, and maybe we can go around Jacksonville and play. 3nodding smile ANyhow, I have to be going, I'll talk to y'all later. smile

...This'll be short because I've used up a lot of time already, and I just bought the card today. And word will probably get out sooner or later, but I decided to do another contract. And I could be out on another ship as soon as Oct or Nov. So yay for me and traveling. Ok, off to bed for me now. I'll talk to ya soon. smile

...Sorry, it's been once again a hellish trip through cruiselines for Me.. xp the last time I wrote we were in the middle of our Xmas Cruise.. well, after that we had our New Yrs Day Cruise.. Which was a lot of fun also. Had a lot to drink on New Yrs, and got to watch the sun come up, it was rather fun. 3nodding
Met a lot of cool ppl on that cruise, met another dancer, she was very cool. We had to prepare for dry dock during that time also unfortunately, so we spent many hrs in the library doing things, and just tidying up a lot of crap that all went to hell the day we offloaded passengers and onloaded contractors. xp Oh well though, what can ya do?
We're in Freeport, Bahamas now. In dry dock. It's a sight to see the ship out of water, balancing on these little red block things being held up by some rope. I've taken some pics and video. Which, again, hopefully I'll get those up sooner or later, don't count on it though. It's been a lot of fun to get around and explore our places, though there aren't many places to go, it's still nice to just get off the ship, have a drink and go walk along the beach. Spent 3 hrs today catalogging books and s**t from the library, and then from 10 tonight till 6 tmrw (supposedly) we aren't going ot have any power and/or water. So it should be lotsa fun. smile wink whee xp 3nodding
So I suppose dry dock has it ups and downs. And we'll just have to get through it. Oh well though, I'm still getting paid, and I'm in the Bahamas. Who can really complain I guess?

... Or whatever thing you may celebrate over this time of yr. smile I did have a long long journal entry, but then the computer decided it was going to delete it all.. so yeah. I'm going to try and write one again. xd
Lets see... yesterday I was in Martinique, which was a beautiful port, the shopping was the great and the ppl were interesting (smelly unfortunately lol xd ). Got some sun there and I'm feeling it now, but oh well, I had a lot of fun being there. I took some pics and video clips so hopefully I'll get those uploaded sooner or later and ppl might be able to see them. It was beautiful, and they had a fort on a cliff (fort de france, the fort of france) and I took some pics of that also, awesome stuff.
Today I was in Barbados! It was freakin' awesome, we went to Bridgetown, which is basically downtown... Now.. Hmm.. how do I give you a visual? Think.. the business of the streets of NYC, the width of about the streets in france (really small and narrow) and everyone being black. xd It was very interesting, and a lot of fun. Didn't buy a damn thing though, so you should be proud. xd wink
We had some performances tonight and then we had a choir concert. It was alright.. the first show of Ultimate Broadway was icky, the spirit just wasn't there and the feeling was just... vanilla. lol but the second show went much better and we have a lot more fun. smile The choir thing went well also, we got all dressed up and just sang, adn then afterwards we got free food and drinks. xd So it was fun. After that I pretty much went out on the top deck and watched the stars and moon come out, and then I had some coffee in the Lido (which is the restaurant on the ship) and now I'm sitting here writing and talking to ppl. xd
We're at sea tmrw, and we've got lotsa xmas stuff going on.. caroling, santa stuff, shows to help with. All this fun stuff, so yeah. smile It'll be fun trmw, though I'll have to admit, it doesn't really feel like xmas, but probably cuz i'm on a ship in the caribbean far from home. So yeah. wink I hope y'all have an awesome and safe xmas, and a wonderful New yr, i will talk to y'all soon. smile Lots of love. smile

...it's been a while once again since I've written... *slaps his forehead* whee
Ok, well all, I'm on the ship now,and have been for almost 2 wks now.. or maybe it's been a little over two wks, ya sorta lose track of time after a while. 3nodding
We've put up all four shows, staged them and performed them, and have gotten awesome reviews from everybody about them. So it's been awesome just being able to perform and have ppl recognize you on the ship and give you praise for all that you've done. smile Had a couple days off since hell wk officially was over like on Sun.. just been out tanning, working out, fun stuff like that. We have a midnight run through of a show tonight, because we perform it tmrw. So I'm not really looking forward to that, but this show will be canned from this ship in less than a month, so I can't complain, and this is the show that the cast hates. So yay! xd lol
Other than that, it's been pretty laid back, been enjoying myself, I've learned so much over the past couple wks, I can't imagine how I'm going to change after the six months is up. whee I am having a ball overall though. been trying to get together some xmas stuff for the cast, so hopefully I'll get that done soon, and then I dont' know what we're going to be doing for my bday this month, since it's so close to Xmas (8 days) and 5 days after someone elses in the cast (12th is her's, 17th is mine. sweatdrop ). Oh well, it'll all get figured out, I have to go now, leave comments, I'll hopefully answer. smile ttyl smile

xd Hi all!
It's 4 am, in Inglewood(hood) Cali, and I'm not sleepy yet... LoL xd I've been popping into Gaia occasionally cuz we do have dial up here and ppl have been nice enough to let me use their laptops they brought/bought. smile
Aaaaanyhow... to get y'all up to date on what is going on here.. I got into LA around 10:30 on the 1st of this month, met most of my cast, and walked around the studios and such... smile And then the next day we started rehearsing... rehearsed basically 8 hrs a day, and could go home, sleep, go over stuff we had learned yesterday and then go back in and learn more.. 4 shows, and many headaches later, we arrive to today, on Turkey day. wink
We officially finished our last shows yesterday at like 11 pm.. we ran through them all, and we didn't have any major hiccups, just little things here and there that we will get taken care of on the ship, which we leave for in a little over a day... exclaim exclaim Scary stuff! eek
I'm majorly excited though, it's nice to be done with learning stuff and now it's just putting it all together and finally get our asses out on the boat and go through it all and perform xd if any of that made sense wink Anyhow... if y'all wanna see where I'll be going, go to hollandamerica.com
click on Destinations (upper left hand corner) and then click on one of the following "Carribean", "Alaska", "Panama Canal" and I think the "Bahamas" is there also, but that might be included in the Carribean, don't remember.. anyhow, click on one of those, then pick a month.. I believe that Dec-Feb i'll be in the Carribean, March-Apr i'll be doing Panama, and Apr-May Alaska....
Anyhow, pick a month, and then find the "ms Zaandam" (my ship! xd ) and go from there. xd and you can be jealous of me and my travelling wink xd j/k wink Anyhow, that's about all i can really think that's going on.... bought a lot of clothes, met some really cool ppl, and yeah. smile Alright, I'll talk to y'all soon, and hopefully I'll get to write some more later after I get on the ship! xd I leave Fri for the ship, so yeah wink

...we've officially came to the end of this chapter.. and we open the next. smile
I officially leave in... 10 hrs. In which time i must sleep... sometime. xp I'm so scared. lol.. I hate to admit that, but I am. Even though I'm gonna be taken care of, it's going to be odd being out on my own.
Not knowing anyone. Not knowing where anything is. As I've been saying all along, it'll be an experience. I don't know if anyone who reads this, if anyone reads this at all, is a Christian or is of the praying type, but if you are, pray for me. smile Or just hold me in your thoughts or something of that matter. 3nodding
I really and honestly don't know if I'll be able to drop back in, in a couple wks or if it'll really be 7 months. But if anything, I love my friends, you know who you are, and I hope that I y'all have a great new few months. So, just to cover somethings:

...I leave Moooonday. gonk wow, time flies.. though I say that every yr. xd Well, I'm almost done packing, just some little things.. (toothbrush... etc etc etc)
I can't believe I'm leaving. whee It was so weird thing.. "this is the last time I'm going to drive this car..." " this is the last time I'm walking into that studio.." ninja Wowzers... I'm so excited though. 3nodding Meet new ppl, learn new things, and get to travel, it'll be one of those life changing experiments. 3nodding smile
Well, I hope everyone is doing alright, and is going to have a fun and safe halloween. smile I'll hopefully write a couple more entries before I leave. smile
