January 12,
I have finally recoverd from my wounds. The voyage was a mission in itself. I had no idea that it was a slave ship. Not until I saw the stacks of caged humans begging for me to release them. How come everything I am running into has to deal with freedom? Like the UA keeps taunting me about the fact that I will forever take away the freedom of the people to try and keep my family's.
No more, I thought. So I acted accordingly. I first slayed the first mate. Then the captain. the crew realized what I ws doing, and before I could hide, attacked me. i was unarmed, as both the first mate and captain i snapped their necks. I hurriedly grabbed a pile of rope laying on the deck. Using it as a whip, I broke the necks of 4 sailors in front of me. I turned and hit the man running behind me so hard, his skull cracked. He stood there for a minute, as I watched his eyes dilate then go white. He was dead before he hit the ground. I had not a moments wait before 3 men attacked me with swords and axes. I used the rope to disarm them. The rope wrapped around one of the swords, and i finished them off with a quick swipe. Their heads flew off into the sea and their bodies lurched on the ground before they stilled.
I raced to my bunk, where i grabbed my to scythes. Running back outside, I flew right into 12 more sailors. they went down quickly. One of them made a swipe at me with his sword, cutting my leg deeply. ignoring the pain, I jumped onto the forecastle. the last of the sailors where there. Instead of fight, they dropped their swords and begged for my mercy. I gave them none. i threw on scythe into the first sailor. He flew back into three others, the scythe impaling all four. I swung my scythe at the other 4, cutting off their heads before they could even defend themselves. All 8 dropped to the ground at the same time, dead.
I searched the sailors until I found the keys to all the cages.
Fortunately, all the prisoners were from a ship The Charger had pirated 2 days earlier. The crew from that ship immediately took over the ship, while the rest of the people cleaned up the dead bodies. It was after that, that I passed out form the loss of blood.
I have just found out that a young girl was the one that nursed me back to health. I can hardly look at her, for she reminds me of my daughter.
I can only say that I am happy that I was able to give her back the freedom that I would soon give my own daughter.
Calm seas, we will be at Africa in 2 more days.
