Under the light of a full moon,
your hair glistens like twilight.
And behind your eyes of gold,
many secrets lay untold.
You show only calm in the face of danger,
unless those close to you are jeopardized.
You also wish for something you can never control,
and behind calm eyes,
you despise your own brother for having the
ability that you yourself do not have.
Then you're shown love from a woman of the past,
whom gave her very soul just to be with you
one last time.
She did what she could to make your dreams a reality,
but even that was not enough, for you showed no
remorse as her life slipped away, now stripped of
all regret, regret that was meant for you.
And here you now stand in your father's shadow,
wondering what path you should take next,
for one is filled with conquering and the loss of
those close to you, while the other leads to
compassion and the weight of your comrades
lives upon your shoulders.
The question I ask you, son of the Dog
General, and great dog demon Sesshomaru,
what path will you take, one filled with war
and total control, or one surrounded with
your father's memories, which may one
day lead you to the very same fate.
No matter what road you choose, as lon as
you're devoted to that goal your comrades
shall never die, not as long as they are
loyal to you and you see them as being
something worth protecting.
So now as you look to the full moon,
think of not only your future and what
turns it may take, but of your comrades'
lives and how your choices may effect
them, for you may be the last thing
that they see on this long and twisted
path for not only the truth, but also a
purpose, your purpose, Lord Sesshomaru.
