Lydia Ann Ashford
Age: 17 Personality: Lydia is a sweet girl that usually tries to do the best for herself and her young brother. She has good common sense, and has often been said to have a good head on her shoulders. Lydia does not let complements go to her head, but she does take them to mind, that does include insults. But, she is not so perfect. Lydia is always unsure of what she happens to be doing at the moment, always. Sometimes, though, she will lose her temper, but it is not a common thing. She loves to smile, and she would kill to make her brother happy, which may not be such a good thing. She can be very stubborn, and she always knows what she wants or needs. She will not let other people influence her thoughts, and will not allow anyone to think that they are better than her, unless she believes that they are. Lydia thinks her brother is better than anyone, and she spoils him like crazy. Biography: Lydia's parents were odd people, by far. She didn't really like either, but her brother was her best friend. Her past is unclear, and she doesn't discuss it because she doesn't like to talk about all of the bad luck they had. They had once lived in England, but they moved to America in search of a better place to live. They didn't find it, but they couldn't afford to move again. Three kids in the family was not a lot to them at the time, but then the youngest drowned in the pond just behind their apartment, causing them to move to another city. The other got into a fight at school, the other kid pulled out a gun and Lydia became an only child. It was not long after that they moved again, and her parent's had another child. They named him Eric, and Lydia swore to her parents that no misfortune would find him.
This broke her mother's heart, though did not convince her to leave America. That is, the deaths. The new birth was a fantastic thing for her, and she was sure that this time the family would succeed. It was unfortunate that everyone got their hopes up just to be crashed right back down.
The family seemed to be in good shape, until the father came up with a brain tumor and died not long after. There was then only three of them, and Lydia's mother wasn't doing well. She felt like a failure for loosing her family. Lydia could hardly stand to see her mother in such pain, and she often played mother to her brother to avoid him seeing their mother in such bad condition.
So, Lydia grabbed her brother and left. She left her mother a heartfelt note that begged her to move on and start a new family in England. She promised that she would keep in touch, though when Lydia checked back to write another letter, she could not seem to find where her mother had gone.
Lydia is now seventeen years old. Her brother is five. They've been missing for two years, and her mother has been dead for a couple weeks. They still do not know. Fears: Losing her family; that is, her brother and her mother. She has a fear that something bad has happened to her mother, and now is very overly protective of her brother to keep the same from happening to him. She hardly ever lets him out of her sight unless it is absolutely necessary. Lydia's greatest fears are of being found, and being taken from her brother. She does not let him out of her sight for a moment, that is, except to let him use the bathroom, and all of that. Strengths: Lydia's great strengths are her belief in other people. She is very social, and can twist people's feelings one way or another to fit whatever need she has for it. She is very caring, and that makes her a good leader. She always asks for others opinions before proceeding. Likes/ Talents/ Hobbies: Lydia's greatest loves, hobbies, and habits are her love for her brother and for her music. She loves indie rock, and will listen to little else unless it is good in quality. Lydia's particular hobbies include animals, which she loves. Her common talents are her abilities with children and animals, and her fantastic ability to influence the mind. Dislikes/ Particular Weaknesses/ Worst Activities: Lydia does not trust most other people, and so this could be considered a dislike. She also hates all bugs, and weapons. She hates violence and gore, unless it is directed at someone she considers a 'bad guy'. She also does not tolerate cursing around her. Favorite Color: Gray Favorite Animal: Golden Retrievers Favorite Plant: Ivy Favored Character Trait: Honesty, Modesty, and Carefulness towards children.
