Recently, I have been informed that there is a Prop going around saying that only "straight" or "traditional" marriages are legal. Wait.. what?! -spits out water- Ok, when did we become so brainwashed. Gays and Lesbians can't get married.. why? We have the same rights or at least I think so. Post 9/11 generation, listen up! I am a gay citizen in this country. I have the same rights as everyone else. I wouldn't be surprised if we all become so full of s**t because of our "traditional" values. My values are the same with some minor changes. I think that everyone can be a homo and still get married. We are part of the earth's population and deserve the same civil rights.
"I think that gay marriage should be between a man and a woman": That is the stupidest quote the governor of California has said. Mr. Arnold -tries to say last name- is probably the most successful immigrant so far. He came from Austria and now the governor of one of the largest states in the U.S. To me, he is one of the most ******** up people ever. Ok, I give him cred for re-inventing himself but what he is saying is like this: that is what I call a mess up. If you look up gay in the dictionary, it actually means happy. Now, people use it as an adjective.. "like omgah that was so gay". I laugh at people because they really don't know what they are saying. It's like saying that gay people do what they are commenting on.
My view on this Prop: Gay people deserve to do something normal. Straight people are so powerful in society. They are feeding us one of the ten commandments. If marriage is based off religion nowadays, just ******** off america. I don't need to live in this black hole of positive outlook. I don't need good morals to be a citizen. I can be myself and be respected. I can marry my boyfriend and be happy. We can raises a kid better than fake a** straight people can. Have you seen the divorce rate? It's quite high (like your mind).. where did that come from?
