The demon tore open a rift to Nessus. This is really bad. I thought that MAYBE Fluffy would have a chance at killing it with all of this anti-demon equipment set up, but now it looks like we're all screwed. "Shayra, train all lights on that portal!" he told me. I popped around and focused all the lights on it, which seemed to make it shrink. Then, I dodged and took out a small group of flying gargoyles.
I looked around to check out the situation now, and I saw Chai getting ganged up on by big group of demons. I popped over and handed her one of my scimitars. "You can thank me later." I said as I decapitated a particularaly ugly one. She leaped forward and began slashing and kicking at them with astounding grace. This girl definitely has some skills. Back-to-back, we were nothing short of invincible!
When we were done, I looked at where the portal was, and it was completely gone now. That's good, because now I can get the lights back to the big brawl.
