Short Biography: Tarun lived in the forest, living off of the other animals that reside there. During the summers, he would sometimes visit the marketplace, and on a few occasions, would steal something. Apparently one of the shopkeepers held a grudge, and waited until winter (when the cold weather would slow the half-snake down considerably) to seek revenge. Instead of being killed, like the naga had suspected, he was instead captured. The shopkeeper figured that he'd be able to sell the naga for a good price as a slave, considering nagas are actually quite rare.
