The Rescue Team Part Two
Horus and Roy started their search in the town, going from person to person and asking them if they have seen a blond spikey hair with blue eyes and a leaf ninja headband around. There was no luck as no one had seen anyone by the discreption. "This isn't good at all... if we don't find him soon, something bad might happen to him." Horus said worriedly. He bit bottom lip as a sweatdrop went down his face. Roy looked down at the ground at the thought of losing someone like Naruto. The leaf village would never be the same and their lifes would change forever. Then Roy looked up and pats Horus on the back. Horus looks over at Roy and sees him with a small smile on his face. "What are you smiling about?" Horus said in a confused tone. Roy just keeped smiling, but lightly. "We can't think of the worst yet... he'll live, I just know it." Roy said with a nod. Horus just stares at him. Either he knows something or is just hoping... He thought, then looked down at the ground. "For Naruto's sake... I hope your right." He looked back up and started walking down the street. "Come on, its clear that no one here knows who Naruto or this 'Aven' person is." He said while nervously biting his bottom lip. Roy nodded and followed Horus.
Meanwhile, Lee and Ami where walking alone the outskirts of town. As they were walking, Ami was talking about something random and Lee just listened while he looked for anything strange or out of place. He was just about to ask Ami a question when he saw a house alone. He caught his attaion and he stopped walking. A lone house, out here? Could it be... or is it just for something else. He made an L-shape with his hand and put it on his chin, trying to figure it out. Ami looked behind her and saw that her older cousin had stopped so she stopped as well and looked at Lee, slightly tilting her head to the left. "Whats wrong Lee?" She asked curiously. Lee just stood there, not even looking at her, then he moves his hand. "Do you still have the communicator that Horus gave you?" He asked in a semi-serious tone. Ami was really confused now, but nodded anyways at the question. "Yes, I still have it, why?" She asked with a worried tone. To her, Lee was acting weirdly. Lee finally looks at Ami. "I need to contact Horus and Roy, I think I just found were Naruto is at." He said as he looked at the house again, then back at Ami. Ami's eyes widen in joy. "Really! Well then why don't we just go in and get him before the other ninja notices?" She asked in a happy voice. She was so excited that she was going to resuce someone that inspired her alittle more than Lee at times to keep pushing on no matter what happens. To her, Naruto was somewhat apart of the family, and she would not let a family member die while she was around to do something about it. "Come on Lee, we can take him, its just one of him and two of us." Ami, once again, sounded happy. Lee just shook his head as he knew something was off. "No Ami, we cannot just rush into the house, it might be trapped or even not be the right one." He said with alittle stress. Ami's eyes widen again, then she looked downa at the ground. The thought of it being a trap quickly made her alittle mad and sad at the same time. She made a fist with her left hand as she narrowed her eyes. Lee knew how she felt, then put his hand out. "Can I have to communicator, Ami?" He asked softly. Ami looked up at Lee, her face soften up alittle as she made her fist into a open hand again. She nods and takes out the ear piece, then walks over to Lee and puts it in his hand. "Thank you, I just hope this works and that we are right." Lee said as he put in that ear piece. Ami tilted her head again as he said 'we' But... I haven't done anything to help again. Your the one that found the house, not me. She thought as she looked down at the ground again.
Naruto just sat in the chair, strapped to it with very hard rope. Aven keeps walking around, as if he is expecting something to happen. "Why don't you just hurry up and kill me, clearly no one is coming to save me." Naruto said depressly. Aven stops walking and smirks at him. "I wouldn't be so sure about that..." He said as he walked over to the window and looked out of the blinds, seeing Lee and Ami. "Seems they have finally found this palce." Aven said with a evil grin. Naruto looks up and out the window, seeing the two as well. "LEE! AMI!" Aven looks back at Naruto, still grinning. "So thats their names, thanks kid."
Back out side, Ami heard Naruto's voice coming from the building. "NARUTO!" She yelled as she charged into the house. Lee's eyes widen. "AMI! Horus, hurry, Ami just ran into the house without me!" Then he heard Ami screaming in the house. "AMI!!!" Lee yelled as he dropped the ear piece and ran inside as well.
Horus on the other line was confused and worried at the same time. "Lee, whats going on? Lee? LEE!" He then throws the ear piece to the ground. "GRRR! Damn it... lets go Roy!" He jumps to the nearest roof and starts roof hopping, Roy following them close behind.
