Yesterday was a wonderful day.
I woke up around 9:30am. I talked to Charles on the phone for a while when I woke up, then told him that I'd call when I was done getting ready and everything. I got up from bed and ate breakfast. I ate fried eggs with some ham and toast. Awesome ham. lol.
I watched T.V. for a while, it wasn't too bad of shows since it was Saturday. I charged my Ipod and got on gaia and myspace. Then my mom told me to straighten out my book shelf. It took like 20 minutes, but now it's nice and clean! After fixing the shelf and some of the room, I blow dried my hair, it was still a little wet from last night's shower. When my hair dried I put on the straightener and went in the kitchen. I made cheesecake. First time making a cheese cake and it came out awesome. I took like 20 minutes on the crust and that was the best part. lol. I made it for Charles since today was also our 2 year anniversary. I put it in the refrigerator when I finished and let it set. Then went in the bathroom and my mom did my hair. She put lots of pretty curls and everything, it took like two hours. It was kind of sad because the curls came out and my hair went straight. That was okay though, at least she tried. On friday I got a dress that was turquoise blue with black flower decorations. It has a little black ribbon in the front of it. I love it. It matched Charles tie perfectly.

Well anyways, after my hair was done I put on the dress and my comfortable open toed shoes. My mom painted my finger nails and toe nails blue to match my dress. My grandma came home from work and laid down for a while. Then we went to gottschalks to get some jewelry and my gradma's friend Gina did my makeup. I looked pretty I think. And everyone liked my makeup. Had blue eyeshadow with some mascara and blush. I got a black choker that matched my dress also. Then we went to Target because my grandma wanted a hotdog since she was hungry. I listened to my Ipod. We went to go and pick up Charles, he came into the car and stared at me and said "You look pretty!" He took like 5 or 6 pictures of me with his phone. We then went to my house and I showed him the cheesecake I made and he loved it, me and him ate a lot of it. lol. Then I played him the slide show I made him with our pictures, played it with the song "Truly madly deeply" by cascada. I spent hours putting together that slide show, it really came from my heart and seeing that smile on his face made me feel like I did something wonderful. Happy 2 years to us! After that, he got ready. Put on all black, with a turquoise tie, color of my dress. Put some gel in his hair and shiny black shoes. He looked great. We matched perfectly.

Yessenia called and asked to come over until prom started and I said okay, her and her date Abel came to my house. She had a pirate outfit on, Black with magenta corset and a bandanna, with shiny boots. Her date Abel was wearing all black with a magenta tie that matched Yessenia's dress. lol, Abel looked like a mexican Charles. It was funny. They played their DS for a while and I got everything I needed. Shortly after, Della came to my house with her date, Steven. She had a pretty silvery white dress with black strips, and a corsage on her wrist. Steven had a nice suite that was black and pin striped. He looked sharp, Della and him matched. My mom got the camera to take with us. Charles, me, and my mom went in my mom's car and Della, Steven, Abel and Yessenia went in Abel's car. We went to Foothill to get pictures taken. Charles and me held each other's hand for today. We saw lots of people going to foothill for pictures. I hope they came out good. We got the 24 package one. After pictures, Rebecca came to foothill. She looked so pretty! Had a baby blue dress on, glittery, with her hair curled and up, with some makeup! I loved the looked. She didn't have a date but that didn't even matter because she looked awesome. We took some more pictures in front of Foothill, group pictures. Then after we headed to prom, my mom stopped at the store for water first.

Prom took place at the Rio Bravo country club. The same place that my cousin got married. It is very pretty. It had a big golf course and pretty views. We got there at 7:30pm and saw mostly Juniors and Seniors there. Very few freshmen and sophomores. My mom waited outside as we waited in line to go inside the place. We seen Hector and he took a good picture of Charles and me. The staff searched the guys just in case they had anything, Charles was okay of course. We got in slowly and got a poll. It was for voting Prom king and queen. I voted Eric Mercado for king, and everything else was just random vote. Everything in the place was pirate theme. Chests, balloons, little ships made of legos. It was cool! We walked inside and saw various desserts on the tables. I didn't get anything yet. We went outside on the balcony thing and got a table out there. It was cooler outside. And much prettier. The music was going on, no one was dancing yet. They had a projection on the wall with a pirate flag. We sat outside for like 20 minutes and talked, joked, had fun. Pitchers of water were on all the tables and balloons. Charles and me sat together, and to my right Rebecca. Della and Steven sat in front of us. They got up and brought back some cheesecake and cookies, there was awesome dessert. At the end of the table was Yessenia and Abel. We laughed a lot. I started seeing people dancing inside and music was loud. We all got up to dance, except Steven and Della, and we got our groove on. lol. Yes most of us were not the best dancers, but we had fun and that is the good thing. I loved being with my friends and especially Charles. I remember he wouldn't even dance, and now he loves to!

We went back outside about 30 minutes later and rested as we drank water. We watched the table and Della and Steven danced inside. We switched on and off watching the table and dancing. Then just girls danced, and then we all did. It was wonderful. My mom took a nap in the car outside. She didn't come inside. Towards the middle of Prom they announced King and Queen, Prince and Princess. The Queen was named Jessica..
I don't remember the names of them, but I do know that Eric Mercado won King and that was what I wanted! I was happy he won! He is a great guy and deserved it.

King and Queen slow danced with each other, it looked so cute. Then everyone started slow dancing, Charles and me did also. That was one of the best moments of my life. I didn't know the song but slow dancing with Charles warmed my heart and made me feel so complete. It gave me butterflies and I saw just him... no one else. It was about us at that moment. Our first slow dance on our 2 year anniversary... that was a great gift. It was kind of sad though because they didn't play anymore slow songs after that. Yessenia and Rebecca went home early because Yessenia had to be home by 11:00pm. And she was starting to get an infection in her eye and that was bad. So she went with Rebecca and Abel and the rest of us stayed.

Man I danced sooo much. I couldn't stop! lol. It ended at 11:30pm and I wished they played a last slow song. But that is okay! I still had the best night ever! We left and took some pictures after. My mom took us to Jack in the Box and bought us food. So nice of her. I am so happy she let me go to the Prom with Charles. It was the best night ever.. Best night in all my high school days. I love him and I hope to make many memories with him. I can't wait to go to his prom next year! heart
