Happy new year Gaia! ^_^

Here's a look at my New Year's Resolutions for last year:

-Super Smash Bros Melee-

-38 mill+ Classic - FAILURE - I don't think I got one new score this year. sad
-115 mill+ Adventure - FAILURE - I didn't get one new score this year. sad
-120 mill+ All-Star - SUCCESS - Wow, I sure blew this one out of the water! rofl I'll blog about this more in a future journal entry
-Max everyone in Training Mode - FAILURE - I didn't get one new score in this mode this year. sad
-Sub 3:10.xx 10MM - FAILURE - I didn't get one new score in this mode this year. sad
-Sub 53 min 100MM - FAILURE - I didn't get one new score in this mode this year. sad
-Reach top 5 in 15MM - note: I'd currently have to get 21,655+ KOs total to do this. - FAILURE - I didn't get one new score in this mode this year. I don't even remember the frame respawn pattern. sad
-Reach pro status in EM - note: pro is currently 30,000+ KOs. - FAILURE - I didn't get one new score in this mode this year. sad
-10k+ CM - For real this time. - FAILURE - I only got a couple new scores.

-F-Zero X -

-Beat all the Staff ghosts by at least one second each - FAILURE - Only a few more to go.

-Gaia-

-Be the first Gaian to catch a rare fish on video - Just a matter of luck and time. - FAILURE - As I've said, it's just a matter of time.

-Non-Gaming-

-Read more - Again. Trek likes to read, he just doesn't do it as much as he used to when he was younger. - FAILURE - I only read a couple of books.
-Get a job - A pretty lofty goal to set, as I live in (supposedly) the hardest state in the country to find a job in, and that's in an economy that's less than stellar to begin with. - SUCCESS! - Got a new job Feb something. ^_^

So, overall, I only made 2 out of 13 resolutions. This is the second year in a row something like this has happened. Maybe I should stop setting my sights so high. :/

So here's my new year's resolutions for this year!

-Super Smash Bros Melee-

-37 mill+ Classic - Let's lower my sights a bit here.
-120 mill+ Adventure - I should be able to do this.
-1.1 bill+ All-Star - Do-able.
-All 25 wrs in All-Star - I got all the easy ones already...
-Max everyone in Training Mode - Should be easy.
-Sub 3:10 10MM - I haven't played 10MM in years. Can Trek pull this off with his degraded reflexes?
-Sub 53 min 100MM - Shouldn't be too hard.
-Reach top 5 in 15MM - I now need 21,746 KOs to make this. I'd be within striking range of "legend" status if I can pull that off. Man that's gonna be hard. I guess I'll settle for beating TeamRocketElite's total of 21543 KOs.
-Reach pro status in EM - Pro is still currently 30,000+ KOs.
-10k+ CM - I can do this.
-Get my 2nd place on Cyberscore back

-F-Zero X-

-Finish beating all staff ghosts - only, like, two more to go. Got loads of new scores I haven't blogged about yet, but I will soon.

-Gaia-

-Be the first to catch a rare fish on video - still.
-Pass total inventory value of (undisclosed amount) - I calculate that I should be able to do this by year's end. I won't post the exact amount as I don't want people to beg me for donations based on how much gold I have.

-Anime-

-Finish watching Cowboy Bebop - I love Cowboy Bebop. Got the movie for Christmas, and I've owned the TV series for a while, so this should be doable. With the new film on the horizon, I need to get cracking on this. Trouble is, I'd rather play SSBM. rofl
-Start watching Neon Genesis Evangelion - I've seen one or two episodes online, and it looks interesting.
