Fuji's eyes aligned themselves towards the thin silver watch around her left arm, realizing that she and Hika had been trapped here for at least seven hours already. She noticed that she was right about Hika's stamina, who was already spent from running around for the past two hours freaking out about Tetsuia and now taking a small nap on the white floor. In honesty, she was hoping that Hika would stop running, so she could take some time to rest as well.
Returning to the subject of time, Fuji smirked in irony, the knowledge instilled within her mind that Tetsuia would be confused having no object to discern time due to his stubborness. The one used to being in control now has no perception of control. Time, the only sureity of passing, was lost to him, no ability to analyze how much of it has passed. Her lips uttered with slight amusement, "Poor Tet..."
"Tet? You found him?!"
Her head suddenly turned right to the source of sound, looking at Hika, but not really looking at him. She suddenly felt ashamed, internally cracking jokes while Hika was almost dying of worry. With an apologetic and sorrowful tone, Fuji replied. "Tet's not here...Go back and rest. She realized that she never needed to say this, the falling weight on her thigh telling Hika's fallen from his drowsiness. With him resting on her lap, Fuji's eyes glazed, recalling back to past events.

A slim hand wiped a tear of mirth from her right eye, glancing at the woman in front of her, giggling despite herself. Tetsuia had only made a show of indifference, continuing on drinking the tea that was within his grasp. The smell in the brown stone teacup was familiar, the smell of strong green tea freshly strained. His eyes closed and his hands moving towards each other in a prayer position, Tetsuia's mouth was mouthing words but making no sound.
The woman Sephira looked over at the confused countenance that belonged to Fuji. Sephira smiled patiently and said, "Tetsuia is saying his prayers to his gods Sol and Luna...as well as the goddess of Fate." Fuji turned her head to Sephira, "I'm a priestess of Luna and I haven't heard of a person worshipping both religions and who is Fate?"
"Fate is the origin of all, the origin of everything. She is the beginning and from her womb came the god and goddess Sol and Luna."
Hika's voice rang out from the rafter, the body belonging to the voice walking down the steps. He had a smile on his face, a smile of patience and serenity. Fuji only added the adjective of cuteness as a temporary sidenote in her head. However, Fuji added, "Sol and Luna are opposing forces and despise each other. The dual worship is contradictory to each's cause."
Hika tilted his head, confusion apparant on his face. "Even though they hate each other, the bond of family, the bond of being born from the origin keeps them together. They both aim for the keeping of peace and harmony in the world away from the powers of sin. They are complimentary."
Fuji temporarily needed to process that in her head. How did this little kid know so much about religion? She looked at Hika, changing the subject away back to her curiosity, the mumblings of Tetsuia appearing in the conversation. "What's he saying?"
"Only the basic prayers of Luna as well as that of Sol."
"I've never heard the prayers of Sol before though I know that of Luna."
Hika took a seat beside Tetsuia, who felt the chair shake but did not say anything about it or make any sort of reaction. "The prayers of Sol and Luna were once intertwined but now seperated due to the people's interpretation of their hatred." His eyes glistened, recalling memory of the prayer he had uttered upstairs, saying with the same slightly-high pitched, slightly feminine voice.
"Sol created the Earth,
While Luna created both heavens and sky,
One spawned the human's birth,
while the other spawned the beings of high.
God and goddess of creation,
hear my plea for salvation,
save me from evil,
and deliver me from the gates of hell."
Hika wasn't able to continue when Tetsuia opened his eyes, looking at the three. A sense of presence immediately overcome Fuji, and it all died down again, the indifference returning. Fuji blinked at the odd shape within Tetsuia's pocket, and Tetsuia looked down at his robes, a locket shape on his chest. Fuji sputtered, "You were trying to steal my necklace!"
Though Fuji later knew that Tetsuia was joking, Tetsuia replied, "It is a payment for services rendered."
Fuji yelled, "By stripping me naked and applying oil all over my body?"
Hika had decided to walk out of the room at that point, hands over his ears, the continuous muttering of "Goddess of Fate, deliver me from the darkness, the impure, the corruption.."
Sephira looked at the two, saying, "I did that to you. You were pretty battered up when I found you, and you were close-by to their home so I asked Tetsuia to give you a room at my expense." Tetsuia gave a bored look at Sephira and threw the amulet at Fuji, which she promptly caught. "I don't need trinkets of any kind anyways..." and promptly walked back down into the wine basement.
Fuji was struck by shock, the fury of anger being behind that shock. She was going to castrate him if it was the last thing she did. Sephira watched as the growing figure of anger stood up to follow and grabbed onto the hem of her robes, causing her to fall, saying with a happy tone, "Don't be angry at him...he's always like this to strangers.."
Fuji directed her death glare at Sephira, saying, "Obnoxious and stupid." Sephira replied, "You have it on the dot. It's his shell against strangers..." Her voice drifted away, saying, "He still has no idea where he came from..." Fuji's anger melted away, looking into the cellar again...he was the same as she...

Fuji had not even felt herself doze off. Her sitting form effaced by a white haired child in the middle of nothingness, the middle of the abyss.
