I've gone through about 10 best friends in my life. Well... who I called my best friends.
Sami, Aimee, Bernice, Cecilia, Wendy, Crista, Arianna, Jessica, Amanda, Dayshan, and lastly, Della.
Something always seems to happen when I get a new best friend. They end up distancing themselves from me, using me, or replacing me.
I've held it all in until now.. A best friend is all I want. Someone who will stay through the good times and bad. Someone who calls me because they want to know how I'm doing and not what I can do for them. Someone who listens to me and truly cares how I feel. A friend I can call my own. One I can trust. I'll search my whole life if I have to. I'm going to find her, I just hope she's not too far away.
Maybe I've already found her, just haven't realized it.. I want to say Suzie but maybe something will go wrong there too.. I hope not.
I've been sad for the last couple of days because I've been wanting a true friend.
I just... hope I find her soon...
