Competition.
It bothers me when people ask me whether I’m closer to this person or another. Why does it even matter to you if it’s not going to affect you or your life in any way? Especially if you’re asking about one of my bestfriends vs. the other. I’m closest to all of them enough to be calling them my bestfriend. Just cause I talk to one more than the other, that doesn’t mean anything. They’re all on the same level. Even if we rarely talk anymore, that “bond” is always going to be there. It doesn’t matter who I’ve known for a longer time period; it’s how we click and it’s most definitely not a competition.
